Two weekends before the MAC Indoor Championships, the Chippewas came out cold at GVSU's Big Meet. They will look to improve with a home meet next weekend.

The Central Michigan track and field squads will be heading to Allendale, Mich., to compete and gain more qualifying marks at the GVSU Big Meet.

The Central Michigan track and field squad increased its number of qualifying athletes to help "move forward" toward the MAC Indoor Championships.

The Chippewas will be sending jumpers and runners to Notre Dame for the Meyo Invitational on Friday and Saturday, while the throwers will be competing at the University of Findlay on Friday.

Chippewas women's squad finishes third in a meet with the number one squad in Division II, GVSU, Eastern Michigan, and Hillsdale.

The Central Michigan track and field teams will be competing against Eastern Michigan, Grand Valley State, and Hillsdale this weekend in Allendale, Mich.
