Members of the Central Michigan University track and field team will head to three different locales this weekend as the season builds momentum to the league and national championships.

Seventeen Central Michigan University student-athletes were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference men's and women's indoor track and field teams for the 2014 season.

The Central Michigan track and field team is scheduled to compete in two events this weekend at Grand Valley State and Ohio State.

Distance runners from the Central Michigan track and field team competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic Saturday and Sunday hosted by Bucknell University.

The Central Michigan track and field program continued to improve at the Hilltopper Relays this weekend with numerous personal records and top finishes.

The men and women's track and field teams will compete at the Hilltopper Relays and the Bison Outdoor Classic this weekend in an effort to earn MAC qualifying marks.
